Biological specimen display cabinet is an important facility for preserving and displaying precious biological samples. Its scientific maintenance can not only prolong the life of specimens, but also ensure the safety and experience of exhibition. The following is a systematic maintenance guide to help administrators manage the display cabinet environment scientifically.

& nbsp; II. Classification maintenance: special treatment for different specimens
& nbsp;     1. Dried specimens (insects, bones, etc.)
& nbsp;   Store in a sealed container and place camphor balls or dichlorvos to prevent moths. Take them out to dry in the rainy season. Oily or moldy bone specimens can be degreased by soaking in ammonia water, and the broken parts can be fixed with metal wires or glued.
      2. Immersed specimen (preserved in formalin)
> & nbsp;   Regularly check the tightness to ensure that the specimen is completely immersed in the liquid. If turbidity is found, 10% formalin solution should be replaced in time, and metal containers should be avoided to prevent corrosion.
& nbsp; 3. Specimens of wax leaves and slides
& nbsp;     Specimens of wax leaves that are mildewed can be brushed with a brush dipped in a bactericidal solution, and those that are seriously worm-eaten need to be fumigated. Specimens of glass slides that are broken need to be re-sealed, and the labels should be clearly marked with information to avoid violent vibration during handling.
